Steve is an accomplished information systems architect, business/team leader, software and Internet technology entrepreneur. For 25 years he has developed IT infrastructure and networks. After launching a series of successful software companies, he created an IT platform to organize and support an international group of talented software architects, engineers, and business professionals.
He is a visionary and a key player in the inception and early stage development of software startups, taking leadership in the formation of the company’s early relationships with major technology companies and positioning in the global IT market. He has been instrumental in providing business and technical advice to iNeedHomecareNow in developing a distinctive online product for Aging in Place Essential Toolkit.

Dylan Pattenaude
Chief Technology Officer
For more than twenty years, Dylan Pattenaude has led online application development, database architecture, and diversified marketing communications projects. He creates high-impact campaigns that generate revenue and results by integrating web-based applications and online marketing with traditional marketing. He manages digital solutions by implementing interactive strategies for hundreds of senior living organizations, from individual communities to corporations with hundreds of locations throughout the nation. He supports the Aging in Place Toolkit team’s caring approach to the life challenges all of us will confront, either personally or on behalf of a loved one.


Jenny Smith
Communications Advisor
Jenny Smith, owner and principal of Acuity Public Relations LLC, develops and manages integrated communications programs for senior living communities, home care agencies and other organizations that serve our older population. She is a communications advisor to AgingInPlaceToolkit.com, supporting content development and marketing, social communications and media outreach. After helping her late father in law, late mother in law and late father during their end of life journeys, she’s creating her own unique roadmap for her next 40 years.
Smith received her MBA from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute’s Lally School of Management and her BA in journalism from Ohio Wesleyan University. She is a member of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) and is the Connecticut representative of PRConsultants Group, a national network of senior level public relations consultants.

Arda Tezcan
Senior Technology Lead Development
Arda Tezcan leads a development team building the underlying application, tracking and reporting for the Aging in Place Toolkit. Currently, he is co-creating technology needs and resource needs. He is a full LAMP developer and strategist. He has been developing in multiple languages for over 10 years. He is currently a freelance consultant helping multiple companies develop online solutions. Mr. Tezcan specializes in advanced custom website/application design, along with the hosting, back-up and monitoring systems required for a successful enterprise level solution.

Lauren Esposito
Social Media and Website Director
Lauren Esposito is a marketing and communications strategist with nearly 20 years experience working with businesses and organizations to increase their visibility and reach across all aspects of the digital spectrum. She manages the social media community of the Aging in Place Toolkit and directs its website user experience.
Previously, she has managed the social media community management for businesses that include health care, home care, commercial and residential real estate, beauty, education, finance, information technology, museum, non-profit, project management, religious, sports and style. Currently, she is enrolled in the Interactive Media Graduate program at Quinnipiac University where she is increasing her skills knowledge with strategic planning for social media, social media community management, digital analytics, user experience design and producing content for mobile media.

Alaina Tobin
Website and Graphic Design Specialist
Alaina Tobin joined the iNeedHomecareNow™ product Aging in Place Essential Toolkit team more than five years ago. She applies her visual design and website management skills to support this enterprise. Ms. Tobin works with a team of content providers, social media and web developers by applying market research and integrating Aging in Place’s brand identity to create a unique, easy-to-navigate user experience for visitors. Her work to customize the Aging in Place website/app helps help family caregivers and aging in place planners easily find and use its diverse resources. When not applying her creative talents to the Aging in Place toolkit, Alaina teaches snowshoeing in the winter and enjoys a host of outdoor activities year-round.

Sara Given
Digital Marketing Consultant
Sara Given joined Aging in Place two years ago as a consultant. She uses her expertise to help create strategies that work. With her vast digital and social media skills, she helps implement these tactics to improve user engagement and drive traffic to the website and social media channels. She has past experience working with many senior communities and also has personal experience caring for her mother. Sara holds a B.A. in Psychology and a M.S. in Marketing. Outside of work, she spends time with her children, husband, and two dogs. Sara loves the outdoors, especially time on the boat fishing. She also loves to travel, knit and is a bibliophile.
